CIC Website Gets Facelift

New CIC Features
The first thing CIC users will notice when visiting the redesigned site is the new color scheme. A palette of blue hues and tones has been carefully selected to reduce eyestrain by eliminating harsh contrasts and providing you with a cool, welcoming environment that is soothing to the eye.

Another improvement is the navigation structure. Dynamic menus have been integrated throughout the new design. Users will find that menu items will now change colors when they place their mouse pointer over them. This simple effect will provide you with instant feedback verifying the menu item that you are about to select. In addition, users will now notice that when they click on a menu item, a “drill-down” menu may appear that provides them with more choices to specify what information they want to view and will stay on the screen allowing them to navigate easily through that section.

The most requested improvement is the newly implemented “Bread Crumb Trail.” Found at the top of the page will be a line of text links that will show users exactly what section of the website they are in and provide a guide where they started from, making navigation through the portal much easier.

This redesign will now allow the CIC content management team to post new information to the website more quickly and efficiently, resulting in more timely information being presented to you.
