Asset Management Group (AMG)

The Asset Management Group (AMG) was established in 1994 to address the need for fleet replacement of older regional aircraft. Today, the focus has been toward the management and remarketing of Bombardier’s previously owned commercial aircraft portfolio, specifically the CRJ Series and Q-Series product lines. Remarketing agreements with a number of leasing companies worldwide, as well as the management of 3 independent securitizations have established AMG as one of the largest regional aircraft leasing and management organizations in the world.

Previously owned CRJ100/200/440 aircraft continue to enjoy secondary market opportunities as economical commercial airliners, efficient and spacious corporate-converted aircraft, and as innovative package freighters. Previously owned Q-Series aircraft also continue to benefit from strong market demand with historically low availability, finding homes in a variety of applications, similar to previously owned CRJ platforms.

The AMG team accurately assesses the value and condition of subject aircraft and determines their optimum use which includes: sale, lease and other disposition. In support of these efforts, AMG is also responsible for refurbishment, remarketing, leasing and repossession of aircraft.
