With the Wireless IFE system for the Q400 system, passengers will be able to access services such as on-board movies, music, news, and in-cabin services, through a personalized portal on their own Wi-Fi-enabled laptop, tablet, smartphone or other portable electronic devices (PED). The portal can be configured to airline requirements, including airline branding and passenger personalization features.

Bombardier IFE is designed as a business solution that not only connects the cabin environment to an immersive passenger experience, but also helps airlines engage passengers in their unique brand while enabling revenue generation.
One stop shop: Bombardier provides all IFE Kits. Operators only need to deal with IFE OEM for content and software license agreements.

• This is not an STC solution, but a Bombardier OEM solution. Bombardier has integrated the equipment onto the Q400 and conducted all certification testing. Moreover, the Wireless IFE system provides the back bone necessary for future development of wireless internet connectivity.
