Flight Operations Support
Successful, Reliable
The Flight Operations Support group offers support throughout the life cycle of your aircraft. Our customer liaison pilots and flight operations engineers are active in the engineering development process through certification flights to certify a newly-designed aircraft or to certify modifications to existing aircraft.
After an operator’s pilots have completed ground school and simulator training, our Flight Training and Operations group can also provide additional local training in the operator’s own aircraft. Additional customer support is provided through flight documentation review, operational guidance, the Flight Operations Steering Committees and on-site support. Our Customer Liaison Pilot group is qualified on all Bombardier CRJ Series, Q Series and C Series aircraft.
Our Flight Operations Engineering group provides the necessary liaison and support to airline flight operations / performance engineers including training and consulting services to ensure that the airline benefits from optimum aircraft performance.

Flight Operations Steering Committee
Operator-owned Flight Operations Steering Committees (FOSC) provide Bombardier with guidance in setting priorities for the benefit of all of our operators. The FOSCs facilitate sharing of best practices and training methods and increase communications between operators. All commercial and corporate operators are encouraged to participate. Both Bombardier CRJ and Q Series FOSC meet twice a year and publish minutes online via our customer-restricted portal.
